Central Alberta Horseback Riding

The Panther River Adventures camp is located 130 km north-west of Calgary, at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains and on the banks of the Panther River. It is open year round. We offer pickup at the Calgary International Airport.

Come explore the wilderness directly in the surroundings of the Panther River Adventures Camp. On the back of good-natured and well trained horses you can follow old trails along peaceful rivers, pass by beautiful lakes - a great scenic discovery.

We offer rustic equipped cabins and/or picturesque camp sites for your motor home in the midst of nature. Enjoy the cozy atmosphere around the fire place in our main lodge and the great meals.

An experienced guide, familiar with the locality, will accompany your horseback ride. He can show you the most beautiful places of the area. An abundance of wildlife and mountain flowers provides excellent photograph opportunities. Each guest will be mounted on gentle, well broke horses suitable for all ages and ability.

You can book from half day, full day or three day horseback trips. There is a large variety of trails available. We are sure that you can find one to meet your ideas. That we can fulfill your dreams please let us know your wishes. These trips are for experienced as well as for beginner riders. We also offer wagon trips.
