Valley Zoo

Come to the Valley Zoo for a roaring good time and to visit the more than 100 exotic, endangered and native species.

Come and learn about the Valley Zoo's involvement in the Species Survival Plan and its work to return endangered species to the wild.

Enjoy one of many interpretive presentations
- here's your chance to learn how to bathe an elephant.

Experience the exotic and take a ride on a camel or join the ducks and geese and paddle around the pond in a paddle boat.

Ride the miniature train to the Children's Storyland Zoo where you can talk to the animals face-to-face. There are hands on activities for all ages.

The Valley Zoo is located in the west end of Edmonton, Alberta on the banks of the North Saskatchewan River.

The Valley Zoo is open year-round and offers a range of educational experiences from animal encounters to daycamps to adult programs.
