Located on crystal clear Doe Lake, Doeview Cottage Resort is only minutes north of Huntsville, and a pleasurable 2 ½ hour drive from Toronto. Our housekeeping cottages and the bed & breakfast are nestled in a private surrounding of over 86 acres. Peaceful tranquility and a relaxing atmosphere are guaranteed! Wellness services available on-site.

Our outstandingly clean and spacious 2 and 3 bedroom cottages with cathedral ceiling are all facing south and overlooking pristine Doe Lake. They are carpeted and have fully equipped kitchens, and a roomy 3 or 4 piece bathroom.

Each cottage has its own lawn area with a picnic table, a gas BBQ (propane provided) and an outdoor clothes dryer. We also offer modern comfortable accommodations in our B&B.

In winter, enjoy snowshoeing and hiking in the woods, skating, kicksledding and cross-country skiing on frozen Doe Lake, tobogganing down our driveway and building snow castles and snowmen or women.

We are conveniently close and central to several major towns with their amenities and tourist attractions.

The all-natural sandy beach is simply amazing and probably the nicest around here. There's great fishing too! Pickerel (or Walleye), Bass, Small Mouth Bass and Northern Pike are caught in our three lake system. Fishing and rowing boats, motors, canoes, kayaks and bikes are available for rental. Docking is provided without charge to our guests.

Maijac Cottages on beautiful Lake Cecebe offers a quiet, tranquil setting where you can sit, relax, and watch the wonderful sunsets. Our cottage resort is located on 48 miles (75 km) of waterway between Magnetawan and Burk's Falls, Ontario Canada.

Each of our cottages gives its' own view of the lake. All of our cottages have 3 piece bath, electric heat, full size fridge and stove. All dishes, cooking utensils, cutlery, blankets, and pillows, as well as drip coffee makers and microwaves. We also provide outdoor chairs, picnic tables, umbrellas and gas barbecues.

We have a beautiful sandy beach for swimming and a play area for children. There's horseshoe pits, basketball, a paddle boat, and great fishing too! Boat and motor rentals are available. Golfing, horseback riding, area attractions, restaurants, and shopping are nearby. At night enjoy the central fire pit on the beach. Converse with other friends or make new ones. Everyone is here to relax and enjoy our private setting.

Silversands Family Resort is located in the Almaguin Highlands, west of Algonquin Park, on Sand Lake, 10 km north of Kearney. Our beautiful, peaceful location will offer you a vacation that you will want to return to again.

Enjoy our natural white sandy beach. Stroll through the miles of wooded lands surrounding the resort, picking wild berries. Explore the waterways on canoes, motorboats, surfbikes or kayaks and watch the loons and ducks. Catch trout, perch, whitefish or small mouth bass. Bike through the network of graveled country roads that butt up next to Algonquin Park!

Resort amenities include: convenience store for your basic needs, inviting play area for the children, boats, motors, kayaks, surfbike and canoe rentals, gas, oil and bait, and laundromat facilities.

It is beautiful here in winter too. There is 260 km of groomed snowmobile trails on the Almaguin District Snowmobile Club System, cross country skiing, ice fishing and hunting.

Silversands Family Resort offers two and three bedroom cottages and tent and trailer camping. All cottages are equipped with hot and cold water, flush toilets, private showers, electric heat, fridge and stove, pots and pans, blankets, pillows, and a full deck across the front of each cottage. Pets are allowed (in two bedroom cottages only).
