Sanctuary Retreat & Rocky Mountain Buffalo Ranch is located in the beautiful Blaeberry Valley, 10 miles north of Golden, British Columbia, and just 3 hours west of Calgary, Alberta. Golden is called "the heart of the parks" as it is surrounded by 9 National and Provincial Parks! We are 1 hour from Banff National Park, 45 minutes from Lake Louise.

Sanctuary Retreat offers a unique and extraordinary location for fun, rest, relaxation, and retreat. We offer a private house and ranch where you and your family and friends can retreat from the stress and worries of life and enjoy peace and fun in a safe and nurturing environment surrounded with stunning natural beauty.

Our unique vacation rental is a quaint 3 bedroom self contained guest house that sleeps 6 comfortably. Features include: fireplace, woodstove, one bath, full kitchen with dishwasher & microwave, laundry, BBQ, and outdoor hot tub with spectacular view. If you're cooking, we sell 100% natural buffalo meat. Enjoy complimentary farm fresh eggs, and some organic produce is available in the summers.

As a guest at Sanctuary you have private access to our ranch, 80 acres with waterfront on the Blaeberry river, spectacular 360 degree views, buffalo and other wildlife viewing. Wetlands, forests, meadows, year-round creek, trout pond, walking trails, tipis, and wood fired sauna. Winter or Summer, there's unlimited possibilities to enjoy.
