Vancouver Waterfront Retreats

Lockehaven Waterfront Bed and Breakfast is a wonderful getaway offering luxurious private suites in a picturesque coastal setting. This is a true waterfront property with stunning 180 degree ocean and mountain views. Deep Cove is a popular kayaking and boating centre, with restaurants, shopping, live entertainment, hiking, golf and skiing close by. We are located just 25 minutes from downtown Vancouver, BC, Canada.

Our suites have private bathrooms, kitchenettes and office alcoves. Features include: king size sleigh beds, TV with DVD/VCR, dining area, iron/ironing board, hair dryers, and bath robes. Laundry facilities are available. Each suite has a private deck with table, chairs and two lounge chairs. One of the suites also has a jetted hot tub on its deck.

We offer a full gourmet breakfast in our dining room every morning. Alternatively, with the well-equipped in-suite kitchenettes, you can prepare and enjoy not only breakfast, but any meal in the privacy of your suite at any time. Relax over an quiet dinner on your deck with the best view in BC, or take a walk and try one of the nearby restaurants or pubs.

The River's Edge Inn is located in beautiful Maple Ridge, British Columbia, just a 45 minute drive from downtown Vancouver. When you need to get away from it all, you need to get to the River's Edge! Our tranquil setting and natural wildlife help ease away your stress!

Each of our suites is decorated by an award winning interior designer and offer quiet solitude for a romantic weekend, a writer's retreat or a home-away-from-home. Guests can rent the whole cottage, which has an adjoining door, for total privacy or for a larger group.

The River's Edge suite faces the South Alouette river with a private deck off the bedroom and a larger deck off the kitchen. With a full size kitchen stocked with essentials, you'll enjoy a meal inside or out in the gazebo. Gaze at the picturesque river as you sip your morning coffee either in the comfort of the pine king-size feather bed, or as weather permits, on one of the private decks.

The Fernwood Suite has an expansive feeling with rustic charm. Lounge in the queen size feather bed with its custom, luxurious bedding. You can watch TV or listen to your favorite CD as you peer out the bay window to view the lush evergreens and ferns.
At River's Edge you can enjoy an early morning fishing trip right from the deck of the River's Edge suite! Or take a brief walk up the hill to a nearby golf course. Ride a horse, wander the trails or just relax. There's a fire pit and an outdoor therapeutic spa with 54 jets snuggled in the wooded area close to the cottage.
