Ontario AdventureCamp CherithCamp Cherith - Ontario is located on the picturesque Saugeen River in the heart of Bruce County. We have been providing a quality Christian camping program for children and youth since 1954. Our Adventure Camps are co-ed camps for children and youth from ages 6 - 16 years. We offer age divided programs, individual attention, a warm and personal atmosphere, awesome activities, and a safe and structured environment. There are lots of chances for the kids to try things they've never done before and to develop skills they already have. Each week, campers choose 3 activities to participate in. Campers gain the opportunity to complete skill levels in many activities. Activity options include: camp science, outdoor survival, exploring nature/hiking, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, rowing, trampoline, tetherball, bouldering wall, archery, air riflery, mountain biking, woodworking, crafts, drama, outdoor cookery, and horsemanship (grades 3 and up, additional cost applies). Activities offered may vary depending on the weekly program/age of campers. Keith Hadigate P.O. We are a traditional boys residential sports and wilderness camp situated on beautiful Ahmic Lake in the Almaguin Highlands of Ontario, Canada. 2007 is Chikopi's 88th summer of offering boys the challenges of nature and life. Small classes ensure individualized instruction. We provide lessons in skill enhancement in more than the 24 land and water sports. Through participation, the boys excel in their preferred sport and gain confidence and proficiency in others. The boys are given the leadership, guidance and coaching to reach their potential. Chikopi stresses safety, fun and excitement for boys to achieve success. There are excellent canoe trips in nearby Algonquin and Killarney Provincial Parks as well as in Ontario's extensive rivers and lakes region. The camp offers cabin living, family-style meals, and live-in leadership. Campers and counselors come from all over the world, and there is 3:1 camper-staff member ratio.
