Ontario Waterway Cruises

Ontario Waterway Cruises offers 5 day overnight cruises on Ontario's spectacular inland waterways: the Trent-Severn Waterway from Peterborough to Big Chute, or Peterborough to Kingston, and the Rideau Canal from Kingston to Ottawa.

Each day the comfortable and spacious "Kawartha Voyageur" glides through a panorama of lakes and rivers with their connecting man-made channels and locks.

The atmosphere is uniquely friendly and casual with conversations and laughs among new friends. There isn't any formal entertainment or structured program but passengers enjoy cards and other table games, and a library of books and magazines. For history buffs, we have a fine collection of historic books and pictures pertaining to the canal and local pioneer days. Overnight docking sites at scenic locks and dams invite leisurely strolls or a sing-song around a campfire.

The "Kawartha Voyageur," carries 45 passengers in 23 cabins. A crew of 11 and the Captain are your hosts.
