Skycroft Resort

Skycroft Resort offers private, secluded cottages and campsites in a mature hardwood forest on the historic Rideau Waterway. Skycroft is located in Chaffeys Lock, just 35 minutes north of Kingston, Ontario.

Our housekeeping cottages are fully equipped and fully insulated. All you need to bring is your food, clothing and bed linens or sleeping bags. Cedar Creek can sleep up to 12; Acorn Lodge sleeps up to 4 and Lakewood can sleep up to 5.

There's plenty to help you and your family relax and enjoy your stay at Skycroft. The gently sloping sandy beach features a sand pile to bring out the creative genius in kids from 2 to 92. The adventurer will want to pull themselves over to Skycroft Island by our Rope Ferry! There's air hockey, foosball, table tennis and our athletic field offers plenty of space to play basketball, volleyball, horseshoes and almost any field sport. We have a great children's playground too!

Opinicon Lake boasts of excellent Northern Pike, Large and Smallmouth Bass fishing. Additionally there is a variety of pan fish. Fishing licenses are available right at the camp store. Our boat rentals include: pontoon boats, aluminum boats with motors, canoes and paddleboats.

Skycroft Resort offers private, secluded campsites and cottages in a mature hardwood forest on the historic Rideau Waterway. Skycroft is located in Chaffeys Lock, just 35 minutes north of Kingston, Ontario.

If you value privacy, then you'll love our campsites. Each campsite is individually carved out of the mature hardwood forest. No two are alike, all have a tap for drinking water on site and most have electricity (15, 20 or 30 amp). There is a sewage dump station or a mobile sewage pumpout service available. Sewage hookups on most of the 30 amp. campsites. Every site includes a firepit, picnic table, water tap and trash can. A variety of seasonal sites are also available.
